When I first bought my concealer I didn't know how to maximize it purpose. I asked what areas do I put the concealer other than the blemishes to hide them. A bit of research here are the places where you should put concealer on and its effects on your face.

1. Bridge of the nose and down:  This will help bring light to the center of your face and help slenderize the nose.

2. Under your eyes: This would help in decreasing the look of dark circles and reduce puffiness of eyes if there are any.  Find the half moon of darker pigmentation and conceal only that bluish or brownish semicircle.

3. Above and under your eyebrows: This would help hide unplucked brows and also hide any visible veins. By doing this you would also be making your eyebrows pop and make your eyes seem bigger.

4. Sides of your nostrils:  This would help hide redness or any broken capillaries in that area and with this even out it would make the skin tone appear even in all areas.

5. Outer corners of the lips: This would contribute to lifting the down turned lips and resulting to a more appealing smile.

6. Center of the chin: This would help reduce shadowness and redness, just apply a small circle in the middle of the chin and it can do wonders.
